It provides definitions and context for educators and Administrators to engage in meaningful conversations with the background knowledge of the skilled trades, education and career/life planning, and experiential learning. Additionally, it provides an overview of how the Skilled Trades are explored within the elementary curriculum. Elementary Educators, can align the science and technology curriculum in grades 1-8 throughout Strand A to equip students with essential STEM skills to prepare students from high school and success in the skilled trades.
