Education Committee

Education Committee

The Education Committee delegates its focus between the two key areas, Elementary and Secondary Education. These committees work tirelessly to promote the critical importance of teaching technological problem-solving and designing processes in Ontario's classrooms. OCTE advocates on behalf of Science & Technology (S&T) teachers to ensure their particular concerns are represented at the Ministry level. We provide professional development workshops, networking opportunities, and access to teaching resources focused on hands-on, open-ended teaching and learning in Science and Technology education. We recently formed a reciprocal partnership with the Science Teachers Association of Ontario (STAO) to provide current, relevant, and safe workshops at both subject associations' annual conferences.
